It’s funny because I’ve never considered myself as being very ‘educated’ about things because of having friends who seem to have an interest in all sorts of things and know about everything that seems important.
Then sometimes I realise how much understanding I have for certain things because of all of the information that I’ve somehow gotten through reading and watching things and talking to people. And it’s like, having these opinions and ideas sort of makes me more ‘educated’ in a way about possibilities and whatnot because my mind is a little more open to ideas.
I think Pedder will relate since I read her blog the other day about people judging how much she knows on where she went to school, college and uni, but she’s learnt more valuable things from her home life and what she values.
People need to read and listen more! I reckon that’s the secret.
